Over 250 million users play Facebook games every month. My current addiction is Bubble Witch Saga and yes, I can admit it to everyone, I have spent money on these games before.

This Spring it's a Jungle Garden with lots of beautiful pastels & brights. Raf stays true to form with structured tops then digresses to Dior's femininity with free-form, floaty bottoms.
His menswear background reappears throughout this collection, we see shirt dresses, oversized coats in pastels and variations on the 2 piece suit.
The dresses this season look strongly to magazines with prints, sentences and even the use of blackout tape, I am already getting flashbacks to Galliano's newspaper prints from the 90s. We will continue to see that blackout tape or clean lines in solid colours this season in other collections as it looks like there is a trend going on here.

This lightweight spray-on is suppose to adjust the pH of water, sealing hair cuticles and giving it that smooth, shiny finish.
Instead of combing my hair daily, I have taken to spraying my tresses with this and using my fingers to comb through, a very effective detangler. This toning mist can also be used in place of hair oil, it is lightweight and non-greasy, yet able to control frizz and tame my mane the entire day. So feel free to spritz on as much as you want. However, the initial scent is quite unbearable akin to spoiled milk, that goes away after a couple of hours. I know some people who would love to use this as they don't really like working with hair oil that much. Also good for people who don't like to comb their hair and the yachting crowd as we all know the damage sea water can cause to your hair. Unless the Philip B people change the scent, I don't think I will be using this again, S$35.50 for 125ml.

I needed to get a new mobile phone so I went online for some last minute price & features comparison. The internet is a great resource for this purpose, I don't need to do the leg work and can check up on previous promotions for the same phone model. The main website usually has some presentation videos, you can also read online reviews written by professionals and check out the forums for comments by actual users. Of course, nothing beats actually being at the store to touch and feel the phone models yourself. There really is nothing like seeing the real thing before buying.

Fendi is really on a roll with their fashion forward direction by Herr Karl. Geometric textures and cuts set it apart from other fashion houses this season. Hence, a simple shift dress takes on layers of dimension and interest.
Accompanying accessories follow on that theme resulting in architectural looking shoes with lots of form & bags with geometric abstraction for the art fiends. All the design elements downplay the real inspiration of it's designers, that is the new fabrics used, created from new methods of construction.

My Valentine's Day present, a pair of 14kt gold seashell earrings! The lime green box is soo pretty. This pair of bigger earrings are greatly appreciated as I only have very demure looking ones right now. These earrings are not heavy at all coz it's hollow like those scrap-booking embellishments.

Kerastase Overnight Softening Leave-in Treatment is a cream formulation that works to revitalize dull & tired hair, making it softer and bouncier, that it does to great effect.
There is no residue and no scent, making it ideal for fussy people. You can also work as much into your hair as you want without it looking oily, your hair just gets softer and bouncier. There is less frizz but it really isn't an anti-frizz cream.
The only problem is this 150ml bottle costs $105, so you probably won't be using as much of it as you want.

Singapore's steakhouse, I remember coming here to eat with the family all the time when we were younger. I always did like the jacket potatoes here.
Today's meal really hit the spot. My sirloin steak had fried leeks on top. Local coffee and tea served here ;P

and also the 15th day of Lunar New Year, marking the end of celebrations.
Giving away nail files and glitter polish today.
Getting an express manicure or pedicure is the fastest beauty fix around. I would say getting your hair done or facial as well, but, these other options take a few hours at least. Waayy longer than our 2hr lunch break.
A little impromptu mani in office, this has to be my fave colour a rose tone multi-coloured glitter. Received lots of chocolates today. Thanks everyone!
I was in a really good mood so I got myself a little beauty treat.

Ralph Lauren starts the season with crisp black & white, emphasis on white (that we all love for that freshness). It has that retro boardroom look with pageboy caps and fat ties in clean straight lines.
Evening wear moves from b&w to monochrome neons. Has anyone done neon gowns before? Absolutely love it, you know, because women like colour, especially vivacious colours and its made into pretty gowns with ruffles.
Resort 2014 is all prima ballerina with pinks and blacks in leotard inspired outfits.
Ralph Lauren menswear for Spring/Summer 2014 is a caricature of American menswear to-date, it doesn't get more classic than this.

This book was a Christmas mystery buy from BookDepositary, written by Birgit Vanderbeke and translated by Jamie Bulloch, published by contemporary European publisher Peirene Press.
The Mussel Feast wanders into the inner workings of a middle-class family to explore the issues tearing the characters apart. Wonderfully written with a somewhat fuzzy ending that I detest as it suggests a continuation. What I really love about this, is it's the first musical book I have read. The memories and mood are set to classical music, through suggestion of composers and their musical compositions. This had me playing my old classical music CDs and you would do well to have a collection on standby too. From the mother's favourite Schubert piece Winterreise that she plays on the piano to calm her nerves, to the opulent Verdi operas the father blasts every sunday morning, it's a different way to immerse yourself in a book.

Check out this cutie sporting the holiday trend inspired by My Little Pony fans. Even my niece has hot pink clip ons.
Lots of food this year with special attention to regional specialties like this 5 spice chicken. Different and yet yummy.
