An opalescent white base to provide a veil of light to your complexion. It is a color correcting foundation that is creamy white like moisturizer, once applied it turns translucent. Dust on some makeup and you get that glowy-dewy look we all love soo much. I have to say it's hard to achieve this effect and while there are lots of products on the market that cater for this, Guerlain's Blanc de Pearl does it effortlessly to great effect. The downside is that this look can quickly turn shiny and make your face look oily, so keep a compact on hand for touch-ups or just use more makeup powder on your face during the initial application.
