Marina Bay Sands

I am embarrassed to admit it, I took a while to make my way here as I thought there was a $100 entry fee. Well, I did manage to avoid the opening day crowds.

Now for the whirlwind tour. There is the casino, Singaporeans have to pay $100 tax to enter it. It's free for foreigners. If you don't gamble there are clubs, theatre, skating rink and a museum.

For me, the huge shopping mall really takes attention away from the casino. Major labels and celebrity chef restaurants are the highlight of this place. To really soak in the atmosphere, book a MBS hotel room from $188/night and enjoy access to the sky park for panoramic views of the business district nightlights.
